Charlotte fuses entrepreneurial flair, having co-founded a successful start-up in 2006, with her experience as a senior manager leading transformational change in one of the world’s largest organisations. She combines her considerable leadership skills with her passion and relentless drive to ‘make things better’ to deliver Maxop’s fully integrated proposition.

After many years of working with politicians and business leaders and implementing sustainable, innovative solutions to solve complex issues, Charlotte is now responsible for managing and overseeing all of Maxop’s service lines. She is our first point of contact to assess and address our clients’ needs in order to mobilise the right team in the right place at the right time.

As CEO and co-founder of Maxop, BDLN and FEBE, Charlotte co-ordinates and leads these innovative organisations to revolutionise the sectors in which they operate. She drives the ambitious strategy for growing the business and works closely with our clients to offer holistic professional services solutions.

An accountant by training, John became the youngest person ever to be internally promoted to the role of Director in one of the Big Four firms. He was subsequently awarded a place on the firm’s Accelerated Leadership Programme as a result of his unique ability to win new revenue from brand new relationships.

With his previous professional experience, and as the co-creator of both the BDLN and FEBE, John uses his abundant energy, enthusiasm and unique abilities to meet and develop strong bonds with the captains of industry to teach other professionals how to realise their own true market facing potential.

John leads our training division and works as a consultant to implement highly effective lead and relationship generation programmes to win in the market. Furthermore, he delivers away days and organises panel events for firms. He also coaches senior partners and management teams to help them transform new relationships into fee earning opportunities.

Over the course of his career Mike has been Senior Advisory Partner to several global companies including Zurich Financial Services, Lloyds Banking Group, Marsh & McLennan, Nokia and Michael Page International. He has worked extensively across Europe, Asia, the USA and Africa and is now Visiting Professor of Management at Cass Business School.

Following 12 years working within the Financial Services Industry, Mike joined EY where a distinguished career led to him serving in two of the four Global Managing Partner roles at EY, and spending over 12 years on EY's UK, EMEIA and Global Executive Committees. Whilst at EY, he was responsible for developing global strategy across consulting services, audit, tax, corporate finance and law. He also linked talent strategy, engagement and values to marketplace differentiation and business performance. He was accountable for improving all aspects of the firm’s brand, culture, values, employee lifecycle and its learning and development. Mike was also an integral part of the launch and development of ‘Vision 2020’, a global strategy aimed at building a distinctive professional services firm with turnover exceeding $50 billion dollars.

Mike has founded and led companies that are uniquely different from the competition. As founding Chief Executive of First Direct, he built a bank with unprecedented levels of customer loyalty. At Mercury Communications, Mike took over as CEO of a company running out of growth opportunities and desperately needing reinvention. By creating an exciting, fast growing consumer brand he doubled profits to over £200m per annum in less than three years.

As founding Chief Executive of Egg, Britain’s first internet bank and, for a number of years, the biggest in the world, Mike built a profitable financial services organisation that broke all growth records.

As a leading authority on approaches to strategy, leadership, innovation and culture, Mike works with our clients to identify and implement news ways of working in order to create competitive advantage. His understanding of markets and customers and his flair for innovation enable him to quickly identify what companies need to do to stand out from the crowd.

After a successful career in the professional services sector culminating in becoming the Private Client Partner at the firm now known as PwC, Brian used his commercial acumen and business experience to become a serial entrepreneur. His entrepreneurial journey includes many different sectors and geographies and covers media, healthcare and finance.

Brian has also had experience of working with some of the best known business founders and has advised some of the world’s wealthiest individuals. Brian is now a partner at Vestra and part of the Vestra Private Office where he specialises in financial advice for entrepreneurs and their families.

Excited by the founding team’s vision of creating the most recognised one-stop-shop agency for the professional services industry, Brian is senior adviser to the Maxop board, advising them on all strategic matters to support and develop the company’s mission.

Matt is an editor, writer and publisher who has worked at the helm of several market-leading publications and websites for world-leading publishing companies including Haymarket, Emap and Bauer Media.

In 2005, Matt became one of Emap’s youngest ever specialist editors, driving his monthly publication to exceptional success during one of the most challenging times ever seen in the publishing industry, by capitalising on the rise of the internet and social media. Matt now uses his editorial expertise in his capacity as Editor of the BDLN and FEBE.

Matt brings to Maxop top-class editing, copy writing, PR and design skills to Maxop and our clients, and he specialises in creating clear and achievable communication across all platforms.

Mike was a senior associate in business development at an accountancy firm where he worked with clients to develop strategies to grow their business. He has also worked with company boards to co-develop account plans and run senior management training sessions.

Mike has headed up operations on FTSE 100 accounts and therefore understands how to best navigate the complexities of large, matrix account teams. He brings us a focus on multi-service line stakeholder engagement, communications and revenue growth.

Mike is responsible for working closely with our clients to understand their holistic business needs in order to deliver the appropriate suite of Maxop services.

Abdul has worked as a leader within the technical accounting advisory space for the last 15 years. During this time, his many achievements include orchestrating the building of the accounting advisory function for a network of over 400 accounting firms.

Abdul is at the forefront of the intricate changes in the accounting and regulatory landscape and uses this knowledge to help clients navigate the complex environment. As a result of his technical expertise, Abdul has been invited to sit on numerous high profile industry working groups and he is often asked to present at national conferences.

Abdul's passion is to provide innovative and bespoke technical training to accountants of all levels and he believes strongly in bringing an engaging and stimulating atmosphere to his sessions. This passion has led Abdul to become head of Maxop¹s technical division where he works closely with our clients to develop and deliver tailored training solutions to exactly meet their needs.
